Learning songs and signing them can feel daunting for some. But children do not notice if adults are singing in tune, children are creative beings for the joy of it and they expect the same from us. This is why you will find my out of tune song videos throughout the blog. It is only when children see adults expressing their feelings of shame around their own creativity, that children learn perhaps they too should be feeling some embarrassment. Reaching back into our inner childhood we can let out a joyful song and paint a messy picture, and more often then not we remember it’s really quite fun.
